Advisors

Each fraternity and sorority at Â鶹ÊÓƵ is advised by their national organization. Â鶹ÊÓƵ expects advisors and national partners to take an active role in the organization’s success. The role of the advisor is to guide, advise, and support the chapter and its officers and monitor their progress.

The advisor must be willing and able to devote significant time to the organization, and be knowledgeable about the policies of their organization as well as Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s. Additionally, it is our hope that advisors are skilled in organizational and leadership development. Our committed advisors/alumni help chapters to achieve their greatest success.

Advisors are invited to attend annual advisor meetings to learn more about office updates, new projects and initiatives, and connect with other faculty/staff advisors at Â鶹ÊÓƵ.

Expansion

To maximize our support of current organizations on our campus, and to ensure growth of the community is healthy and sustainable, we require all expansion efforts to be approved before an organization joins our community.

Those inter/national organizations seeking community information should email all requests to fsl@denison.edu. These include, but not limited to, recruitment information, academic reports, and community membership reports.
